Sizzling Hot brooke shields stretching legs , thighsBrooke Christa Camille Shields was born in May 31, 1965. Shields' early career was managed and pushed by her mother, Teri Shields, a small-time actress who placed her daughter in front of the camera before she was even one. As the Ivory Snow baby, Shields was once hailed as the "most beautiful baby in America." After spending many years hawking products, she was in such demand that her mother started marketing her under the logo "Brooke Shields & Co." She was a popular model by the age of 12.

Brooke Shields made her feature film debut in "Alice Sweet Alice" (1976), but did not become a bona fide star until French director Louis Malle cast her as a 12-year-old New Orleans prostitute who becomes the romantic obsession of a much older painter in "Pretty Baby "(1978). The film was released amidst great controversy because of the scenes in which Shields (or a body double representing her) appeared nude. But while she did participate in some adult scenes, those moments were handled with taste and discretion by Malle and his cinematographer, Sven Nyquist, and the general consensus was that Shields was not exploited in the film. Thus far, her acting in "Pretty Baby" remains Shields' best.

Controversy again stirred when she did some provocative ads for Calvin Kline in which she was seen wearing a too tight pair of jeans and cooed, "Nothing comes between me and my Calvins." At the peak of her fame, Shields appeared three times on the cover of Life magazine and once on the cover of Time. Her film career picked up around this time with appearances in such venues as King of the Gypsies (1978) and Wanda Nevada (1979), but her best-known film is the so-bad-it's-good The Blue Lagoon (1980) in which she and teenage hunk Christopher Atkins find themselves shipwrecked for years on a desert island. Ostensibly, the film is a tender tale about innocence and true love.

Royally Image

Brooke may have been one of the 12 "Most Promising New Actors of 1978" according to John Willis' Screen World, but the rest of her acting career didn't do much to prove that she was more than a pretty face. Not only is Brooke considered a pretty face, but she was even hailed as Time magazine's "Face of the '80s", thanks to the memorable The Blue Lagoon and her provocative ads for Calvin Klein jeans, proving that nothing could come between her and her Calvins.
But something did come between her and her acting career, when she took a hiatus in the '80s to attend Princeton University and receive her B.A. in French literature, after roles in Endless Love and Sahara.

Ornamental look

In 1996, Brooke was cast as the naïve Susan Keane Browne in the NBC sitcom, Suddenly Susan. During her 4-year gig as suddenly klutzy Susan, Brooke had other things on her plate, such as a role in the documentary, Scratching the Surface, along with Bridget Fonda and Whitney Houston, and parts in the box-office blunders The Weekend, Black and White (co-starring Robert Downey Jr. and Claudia Schiffer), and The Bachelor (co-starring Renee Zellweger and Chris O'Donnell).

Obvious Beauty

Shields has appeared in a number of television shows, the most successful being the NBC sitcom Suddenly Susan, in which she starred from 1996 until 2000 and which earned her a People's Choice Award in the category of Favorite Female Performer in a New Television Series in 1997 and two Golden Globe nominations.

Happydent Smile

Shields was married from April 19, 1997, to April 9, 1999, to professional tennis player Andre Agassi; their marriage was annulled. Since April 4, 2001, she has been married to television writer Chris Henchy. They have two daughters: Rowan Frances (b. May 15, 2003) and Grier Hammond (b. April 18, 2006).

Full Of Fibres

Brooke Shields has appeared in many on-stage productions, mostly musical revivals, including Grease, Cabaret, Wonderful Town and Chicago on Broadway; she also performed in Chicago in London's West End.

Wavy Queen

She has never stopped working, whether it be a Bob Hope Christmas special, her own sitcom "Suddenly Susan" (1996) or as an author. She also managed to work on a degree from Princeton University. She has received a number of awards during her career, most notably The People's Choice award for 1981 through 1984 in the category of Favorite Young Performer. In 1997, she was honored again with The People's Choice award for Favorite Female Performer in a New Television Series in 1997 for her work in "Suddenly Susan" (1996).

Looking Passable

When suffering debilitating depression after the birth of her daughter, she made the decision to put her feelings down on paper. Her book, "Down Came the Rain: My Journey Through Postpartum Depression", takes a hard, honest look at what she and many other women experience after childbirth.

Kodak Moment

Brooke may not have gained much recognition for many of her roles, but she did receive the People's Choice Award for Favorite Female in a New Series, for Suddenly Susan, as well as the more prestigious Theater World Award in 1995, for her turn as rebellious Rizzo in the Broadway rendition of Grease, for which she received critical accolades.

Baby Boom

Brooke's mother wasted no time getting her started in the industry, and at 11 months young, Brooke posed in commercials for Ivory Snow.

Although it didn't take much convincing to see that Brooke had the natural beauty necessary to model, her mother's aggressiveness and persuasive attitude helped launch Brooke's career. She was a popular model by the age of 12, and she would soon have acting on her portfolio.

Killer's Style

The Blue Lagoon' actress delivered baby Grier Hammond Henchy in Los Angeles on Tuesday (18.04.06). The tot is her second child with husband Chris Henchy, 42.

The actress, who is expecting her second child in May, has revealed the sex of the unborn tot and admits she is thrilled her two-year-old daughter, Rowan, will have a little sister to play with.

Blonde Look

Brooke did random television stints in features such as Change of Heart and The Diamond Trap; the title role in 1989's Brenda Starr; and a cameo in Speed Zone!. She was on the Hollywood scene but was never a memorable presence, until her role as Joey Tribbiani's stalker in a 1996 Friends star-studded episode.

Jeans Girl

Brooke Shields lives in New York, and is still sought after for work in movies, television, and on stage. Pretty nice list of achievements for the once Calvin Klein jeans girl. She is really a brave heart lady.
